Bollywood Actress Asin Thottumkal turns 24

Bollywood Actress Asin Thottumkal, who celebrates her 24th birthday today made her acting debut in Sathyan Anthikkad’s Narendra Makan Jayakanthan Vaka in 2001 when she was just 15. Her first commercial success came with Amma Nanna O Tamila Ammayi in 2003, for which she won a Filmfare Award for the Best Telugu Actress.
After a number of films, she received her second South Filmfare Award for Best Actress for her performance in her second Tamil film, Ghajini in 2005. Her role was that of a vivacious young model named Kalpana. The following Diwali in 2005, Asin had two releases, Sivakasi and Majaa. Both the movies did fairly well at the Box Office.
The following year, her long-delayed venture, Varalaru opposite Ajith Kumar, became the biggest blockbuster of 2006 in Tamil cinema. The film’s hero-centric plot retreated Asin to the sidelines, but her role was well acclaimed by critics.In 2007, Asin had another hit with the movie Pokiri. Asin Thottumkal appeared in her first dual role in K. S. Ravikumar’s magnum opus Dasavathaaram opposite Kamal Haasan.
Despite being overshadowed by Haasan’s ten roles, Asin’s portrayal’s in the film were praised as her “best-to-date” with one of her roles being that of a Vaishnavite in the 12th century; whilst the other character was a Brahmin girl from Chidambaram. Dasavathaaram subsequently went on to become one of the biggest blockbusters in South Indian film history.

After establishing herself as the leading actress in South India, Asin Thottumkal opted to move into Bollywood, to get nationwide fame. Her first film, Ghajini opposite Aamir Khan was the remake of her breakthrough film of the same name. This year will see Asin acting opposite Salman Khan in the movie London Dreams, in which she plays a member of a rock band. The movie also stars Ajay Devgan. The movie will release this Friday and Asin is completely busy with the promotions of the movie London Dreams along with Salman Khan and Ajay Devgan.

Is Katrina Kaif Married?

In the real life Katrina’s marital status may still be single, but a fake certificate prepared by some mischievious persons suggest that Bollywood diva Katrina Kaif is the legally married wife of local BJP MLA Ramesh Mendola.
The marriage certificate which has been approved by Indore Municipal Corporation claims that the 24-year-old actress married the local MLA on December 2, 2008 and got the same registered with the civic body on December 11, 2008. What do you say?
“The marriage certificate is totally fake and was not issued by the municipal body. It must be an act of some mischievous persons,” IMC marriage registrar Dr Natwar Sarda told reporters.
“It appears that somebody first scanned the IMC marriage certificate and then with the help of some software showed the Bollywood actress and MLA as husband and wife,” Sarda said.
The IMC has taken the issue seriously and will soon lodge a complaint with the police so that the persons who have done it can be booked for the crime.

Aamir makes a surprise stop at Jaipur doctor’s home

News list once again with his promotional activities of his latest movie 3 Idiots. Its reported that recently Aamir Khan had to visit a visit to a doctor in the middle of the night after falling sick.
According to a report, The 44-year-old actor was travelling from Ahmedabad to Jaipur by road when he complained of having fever and had decided to visit a nearby doctor in Jaipur at around 3am.
“Aamir Khan came to me with a running temperature suffering from viral and a sore throat. He stayed for 30 minutes, when we discussed a bit about his movies. It was a treat to me and my wife finding Aamir Khan infront of us.” said Dr Punit Saxena, Associate Professor at the Sawai Man Singh Hospital.
The Medicine was administered to Aamir and Saxena said, “We tried to wake up our kids to meet the bollywood actor but they did not believe us.”
Before his departure, Bollywood Aamir Khan left a letter of appreciation for the doctor and a gold ring for treating him.
“I feel sorry for disturbing you in the middle of the night. Thanks for your help and kindly accept the ring as a token of appreciation and friendship,” Aamir wrote in the letter.
The doctor advised Aamir to rest for three days but he left to an undisclosed location. However, the actor invited the doctor and his family for the premier of 3 Idiots in Mumbai.
Aamir, is on a seven city tour to promote the film and has already made visits to Varanasi, Kolkata and Palanpur in Gujarat.

Salman: I love green

Animal lover Salman Khan also has a green thumb. He will be inaugurating Shaina NC and her father Nana Chudasama's NGO I Love Mumbai's plant exhibition at Islam Gymkhana, Marine Drive, on January 7.



"The exhibition was started 10 years ago when I became a trustee, says Shaina adding, "I asked Salman to inaugurate it because he and his family love nature. Their Panvel farmhouse is nature at its best -- it's a profusion of beautiful colours and vegetables. Salman is a really good human being.

I hadn't expected him to readily agree but the moment I asked him if he could do it, he immediately said yes. Salman and his dad Salim uncle take care by looking after their garden. Last year, when I Love Mumbai had given 1000 saplings they had planted them at their farmhouse and Panvel. It's amazing how they take care of their plants!"

Shaina adds that the green exhibition in ILM is a part of an initiative started by her father 20 years ago. "Now we try to have it at least twice a year. ILM is about keeping Mumbai clean and green. In this way, we can contribute our bit towards combating global warming.

After the exhibition, we will have another green event where we will distribute two lakh saplings across 33 centres in Mumbai. Our exhibition has various types of plants -- including medicinal plants. People from all over including hospital and school folk pick up plants. Some are give free to the needy and some at a price to those who can buy. I Love Mumbai is a non-profit making NGO."

KRK challenges SRK

Superstar Shahrukh Khan has just started twittering and he has already received challenge from Bhojpuri actor Kamal Rashid Khan. Popularly known as KRK, Kamal confronted that he will gather more followers than Shahrukh Khan in a month. Kamal might not know that Shahrukh Khan already has more than 30, 0000 followers in two days. Even a fake Shahrukh Khan has over 1000 followers.

On Saturday, King Khan began twittering and within an hour his fake identity started playing pranks and claims as real SRK. Soon Kamal Khan joined in this twittering game. 

In only his second tweet, KRK went on to challenge Shahrukh, claiming that he would invite more followers than King Khan in a month. Kamal's first tweet read, "The real KRK is here.

Please don't follow any other fake KRK. Main hi saccha hun." He challenged SRK a few hours later: "Main @iamsrk (Shah Rukh Khan) KO challenge karta hun.

1 mahine mein mere usse zyada followers honge. i don't have any @Kjohar25 (Karan Johar) behind me."

In the meantime, another KRK starts tweeting and it spelt ‘Kamaal’.

On Twitter, the number of followers of real SRK (@iamsrk) stood at 30,318 while the followers of KRK (@iamKRK) numbered only 63.

Salman loses his temper again

He is known to lose his cool at the drop of a hat. But, over the year's Salman Khan has been trying to keep his anger in check. But, recently, during the promotion of his film VEER, the star was once again in a tight spot forcing him loose his cool once again.

The story goes that Salman Khan while promoting the music of his film VEER was angered when he noticed that a kid who was trying to meet him was pushed by one of his guards. As soon as the actor noticed this fact, he rushed to the rescue of the child and yelled at the guard in full public glare.

Though, the guard had pushed the kid unknowingly, but Salman couldn't stop feeling agitated at the sight. After the yelling game, Salman quickly regained his composure and gave the child a music CD with his autograph. Surely, the kid couldn't have asked for a much better day in his life.

Shahrukh Khan is extremely excited about his next project

Bollywood superstar Shahrukh Khan is extremely excited about his next project, the much touted big-budget action film RA.ONE.

Reportedly Shahrukh plays a software engineer Shekhar, who as a video-game hero takes on his self-created techno-monster Ra-1. Bollywood hottie Kareena Kapoor plays the female lead in the film.


Shahrukh’s wife Gauri Khan is the producer and Anubhav Sinha (TUM BIN) is director of this film, which will be produced by Bollywood Hollywood Production and Red Chillies Entertainment. Cinematography is by Ueli Steiger (The Maiden Heist), while David Benullo (Shadow Man) is screenwriter.

This superhero film, which goes on floors from next month, has finalized Miami as its location. This will be the second Bollywood shooting in Miami in less than a year. Just around nine-ten months back, shooting was held for Abhishek-John-Priyanka starrer DOSTANA.

The makers of RA.ONE are planning to close parts of an avenue for a car chase, which will also extend to various other parts of Miami.

Whilst Shahrukh these days is being described in the media as Hollywood stars George Clooney and Brad Pitt mixed into one.

Khan wars: 3 Idiots puts Aamir in number one spot

Mumbai: Rs 240 crore – yes, that's what Aamir Khan's new film 3 Idiots has made worldwide at the box office and it's yet to complete its second week.

The Vidhu Vinod Chopra production has made a record as the highest grosser in the history of Indian cinema, beating the last number one Ghajini featuring Aamir again.

Aamir Khan is now the undisputed king at the box office, which raises the stakes for both Shah Rukh and Salman Khan who have their own ambitious ventures My Name Is Khan and Veer hitting screens soon.

"As far as Salman’s Veer is concerned there is pressure that it should work because the budget was very high. However, the pressure is more on SRK’s My Name Is Khan after Aamir’s successful run at the box office," trade analyst Amod Mehra said.

Coming up first is Salman's period drama Veer directed by Anil Sharma and shot with a budget of Rs 50 crore. It’s said that Salman has a personal interest in the film since the story is written by the actor himself. Also, though Salman delivered one big hit Wanted last year, he also has to live down 2 duds Main Aur Mrs Khanna and London Dreams.

But more than Salman it will be Shah Rukh who has to match up to Aamir's success, and not just for personal reasons.

"All three of us are magicians. Wait and see when we come together," SRK in his usual witty self said.

My Name is Khan jointly produced by SRK and Karan Johar is a comeback by the hit SRK-Kajol and Karan Johar combination. The film has reportedly been sold to Fox Star Studios for a record Rs 100 crore.

The film which releases worldwide on February 12 has a lot of expectations to live up to especially since Shah Rukh's last venture Billu Badshah didn't work at the box office.

And believe it or not, SRK who was once wary of social networking sites has just started his Twitter account. As they say, desperate times call for desperate measures.

Priyanka Chopra opens up on her ‘relationship status’

Priyanka Chopra has never confessed her love in public. Though grapevine was abuzz with talks around Priyanka linked with Harman Baweja and later with Shahid Kapoor, all the parties always chose to remain quiet about it.

Shah Rukh bids Aamir goodbye

Shah Rukh Khan can heave a sigh of relief. Remember the dog in Aamir Khan’s life, Shah Rukh, who made headlines last year? Well, that dog is not a part of Aamir’s life anymore. Recently, the dog Shah Rukh moved out of Aamir’s Panchgani bungalow because his master, Aamir’s caretaker, moved out, taking his dog with him. A source says, “Since the old caretaker is out, there was no point keeping the dog Shah Rukh. The dog had to go with the caretaker.” The dog Shah Rukh had played a big role in widening the rift between the two Khans. After Aamir had written on his blog, “Shah Rukh is licking my feet and I am feeding him biscuits every now and then. What more can I ask for?” and “Shah Rukh is smelling too much, I think he needs a bath,” the already hot competition between the two had been further fuelled. While both were battling it out for supremacy at the box-office this sort of banter had only made them more competitive. Evidently, after a while Aamir & Co had changed the dog’s name. After calling him Shah Rukh for sometime, they had started calling him Shahki. There is an explanation for the dog’s name too. Said the source, “The old caretaker is a big fan of Shah Rukh Khan. Since Shah Rukh was shooting in Panchgani when the dog was born, he had named him Shah Rukh. Later, he himself started calling him Shahki and the others, in and around Aamir’s Panchgani property, followed suit.” Anyway, things seem to be a lot better between the two Khans now. In April 2009, they came together on the same platform to support the producers in their fight against the multiplex owners. Recently, Shah Rukh attended the premiere of 3 Idiots. Who knows, with the exit of the dog, Shah Rukh, from Aamir’s life, their interpersonal equation may greatly improve too.

In one of his first conversations with fans, he has started a discussion on the 'Navrasa' which are the 9 emotions of acting. Kareena refuses to act with Ranbir

No doubt that Kareena Kapoor and Ranbir Kapoor will make the greatest pairing in Bollywood but to see them romancing each other is not at all possible since Ranbir Kapoor is the first cousin of Kareena Kapoor. Bebo said in an interview that Ranbir is a great actor but there is no chance of casting opposite him as they share a brother-sister relationship. 

In a new film to be directed by Imtiaz Ali, at first Kareena was decided opposite Ranbir but later Ashtavinayak Productions dropped the idea considering the relationship that they share. But Bebo was not totally dropped from the film, if not Ranbir, she will be paired opposite another heartthrob of Bollywood Imran Khan.

Sonam Kapoor ushers New Year with ‘Vogue’

Ajay Devgan plays prank on Katrina

Katrina is the latest victim of this serial prankster! Ajay Devgn made his Rajneeti co-star Katrina gift Nana Patekar a cake box containing old underwear, a single chappal and a fake moustache.

Recently, on the sets of Prakash Jha's Rajneeti, Ajay took Arjun Rampal and Manoj Bajpayee into confidence and pulled a joke on his leading lady.

The trio told the actress that it was Nana Patekar's birthday and they said that since he was in a bad mood, Katrina ought to wish him and present him with a gift box. Poor Katrina wasn't aware that the cake box actually contained some funny items.

A source from the unit reveals, "This prank was Ajay's brain child and he took everyone on the sets in confidence. The trio walked up to Katrina and told her it was Nana's birthday and that they were throwing a party for him. They told her that she had to dress modestly in Indian attire, as Nana was very particular about how women dressed."

Kat hurriedly dressed up in a salwar-kameez and walked up to Nana with a box given by Ajay. "When Nana opened the box he was shocked to find old underwear, a single chappal and a fake moustache as a gift. Kat was horrified."

A source close to Kat adds, "She was embarrassed and turned beet red. Everyone including Ajay, Arjun and Manoj started laughing hysterically. Nana finally told her it was a prank and that she should be more careful with Ajay from now on."

Now Amitabh will become a superhero

Bollywood superstar Amitabh Bachchan is all set to save the world, albeit in a digital avatar.
The `Shehenshah of Bollywood` is lending his voice for the feature length animated film, `Twinergy`, which is being directed by acclaimed filmmaker Priyadarshan.
The film based on the universal theme of good and evil is filmmaker Priyadarshan`s first animation project and will see Big B playing the lead as well as lending his famous baritone to his character.
AB Corporation has entered into a tie-up with media entertainment major Toonz India to produce the full-length animated film.
The pre-production work of the Rs 20 crore venture has begun in Toonz studio at the Technopark here and the film is expected to release during Diwali in 2010, P Jayakumar, CEO of Toonz Animation India Pvt Ltd told reporters..

Salman Enters a New Phase in Career

 

Salman Khan continues to be one of the most eligible bachelors of Bollywood, even as he celebrated his 43rd birthday yesterday. The actor who has had quite a tumultuous love life, has never managed to quite find the woman of his dreams. But even though his love life isn't rocking, his professional life certainly is. After a series of duds at the box office, the actor had a big hit in 'Wanted', after a very long time.
'Wanted' has certainly given Salman a lot to celebrate about. There is no doubt that the joy of celebrating his birthday would have been doubled by the fact that he has a hit under his belt. 'Wanted', which was directed by Prabhudeva and produced by Boney Kapoor was definitely one of the highpoints of this year. And now Salman has his sights set on 'Veer', directed by Anil Sharma, which is also based on a story written by the actor himself. With this hit, he has underlined his position as being among the three powerful Khans in Bollywood along with good friend Aamir Khan and bête noire Shah Rukh Khan. Not that his popularity ratings have ever been affected by his series of flops. According to information, the actor left for his Panvel farmhouse to celebrate his birthday along with his family and close friends. It seems that he rung in his birthday with his family on Saturday and partied on Sunday with his male friends. Yes, it was an all male party that saw just a select few of Sallu's close friends being invited. Unlike previous years, there was no Katrina Kaif around. As for their now on now off relationship, currently, it seems to be off. There were rumours of Katrina and Ranbir Kapoor seeing each other, but they were countered soon enough by reports that Ranbir was wooing Deepika Padukone back into his life. Wonder where that leaves Katrina, or actually, where does that leave Salman? But as for now, Sallu bhai will be having his eyes set only on the New Year and the release of 'Veer'.

3 Idiots sweeps Screen Nominations

'3 Idiots' seems to have swept aside every film of consequence that released this year. Such is the impact of the film, a lot of which has to do with its late release, that every other movie that came before it, seems to be dwarfed in comparison. And this is a year which has seen films like 'Dev D', 'Gulaal', 'Firaaq', 'Rocket Singh Salesman Of The Year', 'Kaminey', 'Paa' and 'Love Aaj Kal', all of which have stretched the language of Hindi cinema in their own manner. But '3 Idiots' seems all set to bag most major awards. An indication of things to come was received when the film received 21 nominations out of 28 categories in the forthcoming 16th Annual Screen Awards. It is the first film to win so many awards in the 16 year history of Screen Awards. Rajkumar Hirani's latest film has been nominated in the Best Film category along with 'Dev D', 'Kaminey'. 'Love Aaj Kal' and 'Paa'. Aamir Khan, the film's protagonist has but naturally been nominated in the Best Actor category along with Amitabh Bachchan (Paa), Ranbir Kapoor (Ajab Prem Ki Ghazab Kahani and Rocket Singh Salesman Of The Year), Saif Ali Khan (Love Aaj Kal) and Shahid Kapur ( Kaminey). Hirani too finds himself in distinguished company with fellow directors Vishal Bhardwaj, R. Balki, Imtiaz Ali, and Anurag Kashyap, in the nominations for Best Director. Actress Priyanka Chopra leads from the front where the nominations for Best Actress are concerned as she has two nominations, one for 'Kaminey' and the other for 'What's Your Raashee?'. The other actresses nominated in this category include Vidya Balan for 'Paa', Kareena Kapoor for '3 Idiots', Katrina Kaif for 'New York' and Deepika Padukone for 'Love Aaj Kal'. This is probably the first time that a father and son have both been nominated for awards even though in different categories. Actor Rishi Kapoor has two nominations in Best Supporting Actor category (Love Aaj Kal and Luck By Chance), quite like his son, Ranbir who has two nominations in the Best Actor category. The others nominated for Best Male Supporting Actor are Abhimanyu Singh for 'Gulaal', R. Madhavan and Sharman Joshi for '3 Idiots'. The Best Female Supporting Actor nominations include Arundhati Nag for 'Paa', Divya Dutt for 'Delhi 6', Guahar Khan for 'Rocket Singh Salesman Of The Year', Neha Dhupia for 'Raat Gayi Baat Gayi' and Shahana Goswami for 'Firaaq'. The Best Actor in a Comic Role sees nominations for Om Vaidya (3 Idiots), Paresh Rawal (De Dana Dan), Sanjay Mishra (All The Best) and Vinay Pathak (Raat Gayi Baat Gayi). The Best Actor in a Negative Role sees nominations of actors like Boman Irani (3 Idiots), Kay Kay Menon (Gulaal), Mahesh Manjrekar (Wanted) and Manish Chaudhari (Rocket Singh Salesman Of The Year). Hirani also finds himself nominated along with Abhijat Joshi in the Best Story, Best Screenplay and Best Dialogues categories for '3 Idiots'. His fellow directors like R. Balki, Imtiaz Ali, and Anurag Kashyap too have been nominated in all three categories. The music composer nominations sees Pritam leading with three nominations, 'Ajab Prem Ki Ghazab Kahani', 'Love Aaj Kal' and 'Tum Mile', followed by A. R. Rahman for 'Delhi 6' and Vishal Bhardwaj for 'Kaminey'. The Best Background Score has nominations from Amit Truvedi (Dev D), Shantanu Moitra, Atul Raninga and Sanjay Wandreker (3 Idiots), Vishal Bhardwaj (Kaminey), Illayaraja (Paa) and Salim Suliaman (Rocket Singh – Salesman of The Year). It's a rare year when the likes of Ashutosh Gowariker and Rakesh Mehra do not find a mention in any of the categories despite having a release each this year in 'Delhi 6' and 'What's Your Raashee?'.

SRK Looks at 2010 for Relief

This will be a year that Shah Rukh Khan will not want to remember in a hurry. First of all, his 'Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi' which released a year ago, did not in any way match up to box office figures of nearest rival Aamir Khan's 'Ghajini'. Then his film, the much hyped 'Billu', bombed at the box office. If it won any accolades, then it was only for Irrfan Khan, Lara Dutta and its music. With no signs of truce between him and Salman Khan, SRK for the first time is seeing his close ones desert him, even though it does sound a little dramatic. But as long as Salman's brothers, Sohail, Arbaaz and their wives continued to party with SRK, all seemed fine. But matters seemed to have gone too far when Farah Khan, someone who SRK has mentored and given her a break as director with 'Main Hoon Na' and then followed it up with 'Om Shanti Om', suddenly decided to collaborate with husband Shirish Kunder, who had already had a spat with SRK. At that point in time, Farah seemed to have stuck to her friend, but after the birth of her triplets, something seemed to have changed. Farah and Shirish not only launched their own production house but also went ahead and announced the first film from their banner, 'Tees Maar Khan', to be directed by Farah and starring Akshay Kumar. It was hard enough to believe that Farah would agree to direct someone other than SRK. And if that was not enough, Shirish has announced his plans to make a film with Salman Khan, after he finishes work on 'Alien Sahib', starring John Abraham. So now SRK's friend seems to have successfully collaborated with his arch enemy as well. But there is some consolation for SRK. At least he has Karan Johar on his side. One of his most ambitious films ever, 'My Name Is Khan', is up for release in February 2010. Directed by Karan, the film stars SRK and Kajol and everybody will be hoping that their chemistry endures. 2010, therefore will see SRK trying to reaffirm his status as the Khan that matters. Amir Khan has already given him a run for money with the fantastic opening of his latest, '3 Idiots'.

Astro predictions of Bollywood's 2010 big movie releases

Bollywood had a very bad 2009 with only a few films managing to do profitable business at the box office. The entire Hindi film industry is hopeful of having a better 2010. As the line up of the film as of now looks interesting on paper, we take a detailed look into what destiny has in store about their box office prospects. Noted astro numerologist Bhavikk Sangghvi tells us all

	RANN

RANN:

Starring Amitabh Bachchan and Riteish Deshmukh, this Ram Gopal Varma enterprise is releasing on 29th January 2010. The title of the film adds up to Number 13 which is not considered much auspicious. But for RGV and Big B, Number 4 is amongst their better numbers and also for Riteish who is a Number 8 (December 17), the year 2010 is looking bright. According to me, RANN should do well at the box office.

	TEEN PATTI

TEEN PATTI:

The title of the film is adding up to Number 37. The compound number 37 has a good meaning as per numerological texts, but the year 2010 does not support Number 1 in general and so the fate of the film looks dicey to me. Also as of now, the film is clashing with the much biggie Karan Johar's MY NAME IS KHAN on 12th February 2010 and that can create further dent in it's business.

	MY NAME IS KHAN

MY NAME IS KHAN:

One of the biggest films of 2010, MY NAME IS KHAN adds up to Number 37 which is Karan Johar's strongest number. Even his KAL HO NAA HO vibrated on the same number and that film remains one of the best of Dharma Productions. For SRK, the year 2010 is not bad plus his pairing with the charismatic Kajol will draw fantastic response. But the film releasing on 12th February is not a great date as Numbers 1 and 3 do not gel well at all. The business of the film may drastically come down after the initial euphoria subsides. According to me, the film should be released a day or two earlier i.e. 10th or 11th February to make it the 'biggest hit of the year' else it may not turn out to be that way.

	KITES

KITES:

This international venture starring superstar Hrithik Roshan and Hollywood hottie Barbara Mori, can easily rank amongst the most awaited films of 2010. The release date is still not fixed but it may arrive sometime in March. The title of the film adds up to Number 15 which is a powerful octave of Number 6 but does not support Number 4 and 8. Unfortunately, the film's director Anurag Basu is a Numer 8 person (8th May) and so his previous work may be compared to this film. Luckily 2010 is a favourable year for Number 8 people and also for Number 6 - producer Rakesh Roshan. For Hrithik, he may garner mixed reviews since 2010 does not support Number 1 people. Also he entering his 37th year (10th January 1974) may add to the pressure. He should take care that he does not create over hype for himself once the promotion of the film starts.

RAAJNEETI:

Rumoured to be based on the life of Sonia Gandhi, this political saga by Prakash Jha has been in the news right from its inception and all through its making. Starring an ensemble cast of Ranbir, Katrina, Ajay Devgan, Arjun Rampal and Nana Paterkar the film was supposed to release in the early part of the year but now has been pushed to 28th May 2010. The title of the film adds up to Number 25 which is a favourable octave of Number 7. Luckily for most actors playing a part in this movie, Number 7 is amongst their best numbers and so the fate of the film is safe and that's sealed. Also the release date of 28th May is a good one and everybody associated with film will benefit out of it.

	PETER GAYA KAAM SE

After the surprise success of AAMIR, this will be Rajeev Khandelwal's second outing. The title of the film vibrates on Number 46 which is very good but since the year 2010 does not support anything to do with Number 1, that's where this film shall take a beating. Even the release date of 26th February 2010 goes against the film and also Rajeev's luck, who is currently running in his 35th year will impact the film rather badly. Even despite being a good film, 'yeh film jaayegi kaam se'.

	SEASON'S GREETINGS

The release date of this film is still not fixed but from the very fact that the title of the film adds up to Number 58 i.e. Number 4 brings bad news. Even for the film's leading lady Tabu, 2010 may not turn out to be a good year and it seems this film may not be 'greeted' well by the audience.

	KARTHIK CALLING KARTHIK

KARTHIK CALLING KARTHIK:

One more attempt by Farhan Akhtar at acting, the title of this film adds up to Number 53. Number 8 is a very tricky number and is known to give extreme results. Farhan is a Capricorn ruled by Saturn (Number 8) and even the release date has been fixed for 26th Feb. Luckily the year 2010 supports Number 8 and it seems this film should sail safely and make it's investors happy.

	CHANCE PE DANCE

CHANCE PE DANCE:

As the title says it all, the film is purely based on dance and who better than Shahid Kapoor to play the part? The film's name vibrates on Number 53 and the release date is set for 15th January 2010. Shahid is running in his 29th year and will soon be entering his 30th. The film may not turn out to be a big success but may just about manage to do well since Number 8 can be pretty unpredictable at times. Shahid will garner great reviews and appreciation though.

	PHILLUM CITY

PHILLUM CITY:

One more movie on Bollywood dreams, the title of PHILLUM CITY vibrates on Number 39 which is not considered auspicious but is not even inauspicious. The film's leading man John Abraham will have a decent 2010 and so the outcome of the film looks decent. The release date of 11th March 2010 is also not all that bad and so the film should recover its costs if not more.

	SHAAPIT

SHAAPIT:

After singing and hosting various musical reality shows, Aditya Narayan finally jumps on to the bandwagon and debuts as an actor with this super natural thriller directed by Vikram Bhatt who has almost mastered in this genre. The film name adds up to Number 23 which is a positive compound number of Number 5 and so is Aditya's age (6th August 1987). The release date of 26th February 2010 also works in his favour as Number 8 usually benefits Number 6 people. But for director Vikram Bhatt who was born on 27th January and being a Number 9 person, Number 5 is one of his weakest numbers. The film may not be turn to be Vikram's Bhatt's best works, but for Aditya, his first step in Bollywood seems safe.

	'PAAN SINGH TOMAR

PAAN SINGH TOMAR:

This historic war film based on the lesser known character of the same name, the title PAAN SINGH TOMAR adds up to Number 50 which is a strong octave of Number 5. Starring Irrfan Khan in the title role and directed by the very talented Tigmanshu Dhulia, the film's release date is still not fixed but may arrive in the month of March. That is not very good news for the film or its makers. The film should ideally release after 20th May to see a better fate else a good film may remain unwatched by most people.

	KAJRAARE

KAJRAARE:

Himesh Reshammiya does not believe in giving up so soon and he will be trying his luck at acting with one more film, this time directed by Pooja Bhatt. Tentatively set for a March release, the fate of this musical love story seems doubtful. 2010 may not turn out to be a great year for Number 5 people in general and Himesh is doubly ruled by this number (23rd July 1973). Luckily for Pooja who will be entering her 39th year (24th February 1972) in 2010, she may receive some good reviews for atleast her work and that's about it.
KOOCHIE KOOCHIE HOTA HAI:

The release date of this animated version of KUCH KUCH HOTA HAI is still not fixed but the title of the film vibrates on Number 54. Number 9 is not amongst Karan's weakest numbers but the year 2010 would support it as Number 3, 6 and 9 are like a family of numbers. Depending on the release date, the film should do just about average business.

	PYAAR IMPOSSIBLE

PYAAR IMPOSSIBLE:

Starring the unconventional pairing of Yash Raj scion Uday and Priyanka Chopra, this film was supposed to release in November 2009 but was pushed to 2010 to find a better placement. Now releasing on 8th January 2010, the title of the film adds up to Number 50. Good for Uday who is also a Number 5 person (5th January) and he may receive appreciation for his role in the movie. But being a bigger star, the film obviously rides more or less on Priyanka Chopra's shoulders and for her Number 5 is one of her weakest numbers. Also she being in her 28th year will clash with the year 2010 which does not support anything to do with Number 1. So for that reason mainly, the film will meet with mixed results at the ticket window.

Aamir Khan’s Facebook identity is revealed, star is Idiot

And, Aamir Khan thought that his fans won’t be able to zero him down on a social networking platform? Well, his ardent fans have done just that by proving him wrong- they’ve found out Aamir’s secret identity on Facebook!
According to reports, what was thought to be a supposed case of an online identity theft in Bollywood, is unfurling many a surprises now. A Facebook ID called ‘Pucca Idiot’ is generating overwhelming interest amongst the netizens, thanks to a speculation that suggests that none other than Aamir is the `Pucca Idiot` himself!
What’s interesting is the fact that the profile originally called Akash Malhotra (Aamir’s character`s name in Dil Chahta Hai) has recent pictures of the profile holder’s European tour and people are wondering if these pictures are of the same holiday that Aamir and Kiran Rao went for recently.
Other things that bear a rather uncanny resemblance with ‘Mr Perfectionist’ Aamir Khan are the pieces of information provided by the user. The person in question lives in Bandra, Mumbai like and his interests are badminton and tennis, with his faviourite comic being- Calvin and Hobbes, much alike Aamir.
The profile user is highly active and has been interacting with people majorly with 918 friends in his friends list already. Quite incidentally, the posts by the user come at odd hours on a regular basis which reminds us of Aamir’s claim that he uses net during night and chats with a fake ID.
Looks like, this is Aamir’s latest marketing strategy for his forthcoming flick ‘3 Idiots’, as the profile also has much information about the movie. So, whether it’s Aamir or a faker who is doing all this, it’s surely going to help the flick.

And now like King Khan, Shahid Kapoor too apparently spent 90 minutes at the New York airport, while the authorities grilled his spotboy Mohammed Manjoor Allam, better known as Mamu in Bollywood.
Mamu, an elderly gentleman, has been taking care of Shahid since childhood and is working as the actor’s valet or spotboy. Shahid is currently in the US for a 40-day schedule of Parmeet Sethi’s untitled venture being produced by Aditya Chopra. He had left for the US days prior to the release of his film Dil Bole Hadippa! along with actress Anushka Sharma, choreographer Ahmed Khan and a close-knit unit. For the first leg of the shooting, the unit was in Philadelphia and from there, they packed to move to the Big Apple last week. It was during his entry into New York that Mamu was asked to step aside and questioned separately as his name needed special clearance. A member of the unit said, “The questioning lasted for nearly 90 minutes. Though Mamu has travelled extensively to most countries with Shahid, USA is the only country he had not visited.” When Mamu was stopped at the airport, Shahid sensed that he was very nervous, especially since he wasn’t very fluent in English. Shahid didn’t allow him to feel isolated in a foreign land and sat with him throughout the questioning.
Mamu was eventually let off, however, the airport did not give a reason for this 90-minute questioning. The actor was unavailable for comment, but his official PR spokesperson confirmed the news. “Yes this incident did happen.”

Akshay Kumar in fight with father-in-law Rajesh Khanna

Veteran actor and superstar Rajesh Khanna who ruled the heart of millions during his filmy days very often comes into news for various reasons. If he has hit the headlines for doing sensational scene with Pakistani actress Saraa then he has also created waves by accepting Bigg Boss against his son-in-law Akshay’s choice. One of his close assistant, says, “Rajesh Khanna had returned home in the wee hours after attending a Mujra where he had gifted the singer his watch and a silver kada that was given to him by Dimple Kapadia. When I met him for breakfast, he was dreading the moment when Dimple would find these things missing on him.”
Rajesh Khanna has also been approached by many writers for his biography but he feels that his life has not completed the full round and he has many more things to do.

Akshay forgoes his salary!

True, the Khiladi Kumar is taking the risk, this time on the means of his income.

Akshay who used to charge whopping fee amount said to be bringing a huge cut in his salary.

Sources reveal that the actor won’t be accepting any remuneration for his next two films namely Priyadarshan’s ‘Khatta Meetha’ and Farah Khan’s Tees Maar Khan.

This decision was made by Akshay after going through his earlier films which failed badly in the market basing his heavy fees.

Although Akki is a co-producer of both the films, the market scenario has made the actor to consider his salary demand and so decided to do away with his acting fees for the two films. This cost-cutting step by the actor will truly make other actors to sit back and take notice.

Akshay seem to be confident that his new strategy will help the production houses to stay afloat whatever maybe the outcome of both the films.

Birdies reveal that Farah’s hubby Shirish Kunder has another script that he is currently busy with… And the hero of this one is heard to be our Sallu miya!

Shirish is said to start on the film with Salman once he is wraps up John Abraham’s ‘Alien Sahib’. While Farah is trying to keep the project under wraps, Kunder seem to have confirmed the news. Sources said that the film was finalized the filmakers' couple during Salman’s recently held birthday party.

Hmmmmm, ‘Tees Maar Khan’ with Akshay, ‘Alien Sahib’ with John and now this upcoming film with Salman…. What happened to the B-town’s famed buddies SRK-Farah, who earlier gave out films saath-saath?

Looks like Farah is trying out different flavours for her films…

Hrithik & Aishwarya's chemistry beyond acting!

While the Roshan Parivaar was planning a trip to Singapore for celebrating the New Year, Hrithik's wife Sussanne was busy visiting her doctor for some urgent treatment. According to latest reports, Hrithik's wife Sussanne Roshan was not feeling fine and was spotted visiting the clinic of a well known doctor hours before flying to Singapore.

Though, nothing detailed could be gathered from the sources, but one thing for sure, Sussanne Roshan's New Year bash would surely be accompanied by some medical advice this time around.

Well, let's hope the year 2010 brings with it loads of good health and tonnes of happiness for Sussanne who always makes it to the headlines for reasons she doesn't like.
