Space Shuttle Mission: STS-131 Detailed Information

At 12:21 a.m. EDT Mission Control awakened the STS-131 crew with the song "The Earth in the Color of Lapis Lazuli" by Seiko Matsuda for Naoko Yamazaki, who served as the loadmaster, supervising the unloading and loading activities for this mission.

Space shuttle Discovery's seven-member crew will begin their day by unloading the last transfer items in the Leonardo Multi-Purpose Logistics Module and then closing the hatches between it and the Harmony node in preparation for its return to the shuttle's payload bay.

› Meet the STS-131 Crew

No Fourth Spacewalk Needed; Crews to Finish Unloading Leonardo

Space shuttle Discovery’s seven-member STS-131 crew will begin their day by unloading the last transfer items in the Leonardo Multi-Purpose Logistics Module and then closing the hatches between it and the Harmony node in preparation for its return to the shuttle’s payload bay.

Overnight International Space Station and Space Shuttle mission managers agreed there is no need for a fourth spacewalk to replace the nitrogen tank assembly that has a jammed valve. Station ground teams have determined the station can operate for an extended period of time in the current configuration. The team is continuing to troubleshoot the stuck valve and is looking at options for future replacement of the nitrogen tank assembly should that be necessary.

The stuck valve is in a nitrogen tank assembly needed to pressurize a new ammonia tank installed on the station during this mission’s three spacewalks. It keeps ammonia circulating through radiators that dissipate the heat generated by the station’s electronic systems.

Ground teams were concerned a high beta angle would cause the ammonia in the new tank assembly to expand and exceed the capacity of the radiators without the nitrogen to keep the system circulating. The beta angle – the angle between the sun and the plane of the orbit – is increasing, creating higher temperatures.

At 8:41 a.m. EDT, Mission Specialists Naoko Yamazaki and Stephanie Wilson will use the station’s robotic arm to move Leonardo back into the shuttle’s cargo bay. This is the seventh time Leonardo has carried supplies and equipment to the station. The next time it returns with the STS-133 crew in September it will remain berthed to the station.

Madhuri Dixit entering Broadway show!!!
It's been a while since Bollywood's 'dhak dhak' Hot Babe Girl Madhuri Dixit was last seen on the big screens but she is still alive in the minds of the people. The good news is that Bollywood Choreographer Saroj Khan is planning to produce a Broadway show based on historical dancer Amrapali, with Madhuri in the lead role.
Saroj said that they are planning to start a Broadway show based on Amrapali, as she is very famous abroad. He added that Madhuri will play the main character if all goes as planned. The talks are still on. Feroz Khan will direct it and Javed Akhtar will provide the lyrics.
It may be recalled that Saroj was behind Madhuri's hit dance numbers like “Ek Do Teen” from Tezaab, “Chane Ke Khet” from Anjaam and “Dola Re” from Devdas. He has also worked with Hot Sridevi and Hot Karisma Kapoor.

As the Nach Baliye Season 4 came to an end; the finale was made grand with bong babe Lara Dutta and the King of all, Shah Rukh Khan. As the trophy was taken away by Shaleen and Daljeet, the night was made rocking with some special performances by great looking Arjun Rampal, pristine Karisma Kapoor, graceful Farah Khan, sizzling Lara Dutta and the Badshah of Tinsel Town Shah Rukh Khan. Even though SRK's shoulder was injured he was seemed to be in all high spirits.

Bollywood King ShahRukh Khan felt nostalgic today coming on the show as he was coming after a long time back to his KBC, Paanchvi Paas makeup room. On asking if we would see him and Gauri Khan in such a dance reality show he promptly said that he doesn't have the courage to take part in such a reality show but his wife is definitely a good dancer and can't comment on her. All the judges were more than happy to see the worthy winners of Nach Baliye Season 4 and just could not stop raving about the talent they shared on the stage. Daljit and Shaleen thanked every person who were responsible for their victory. Well we wish the Nach doesn't end here and we get to see more of it soon in the next season.

girl lives in cage with crocodilesThe parents of little girl Margarita Tarantina are hereditary animal trainers. They put their daughter into a cage with alligators. The girl’s parents received two alligators - Misha and Masha - shortly before Rita was born. So they were raised together and made friends. Now they cannot stand being without one another. During four years of living together, the crocodiles never bit and did not even scar the little girl.

“Alligators are brutal predators, but they have reason. The reptiles understand that Margarita is just a child and they must not hurt her,” the head of the unusual family, Sergey Tarantin says.

“They like her, and she takes advantage of it. Rita likes Misha in particular. She can play with his paw or lie on his back, while she-crocodile Masha is more capricious,” the father said.

Drinkable design

Yesterday I accidentally came across a limited Coca Cola light edition with.... [I'll be damned].... Karl Lagerfeld. I was just like "Blow me down!" and couldn't believe what Lagerfeld has to do with Coke? Admittedly, Lagerfeld is really addicted to Cola light. I mean, he diets with it after he lost about 80 pounds. But, is it worthy that Coke pays homage to Lagerfeld just because he's campainging for it at almost every fashion show??
Declaredly, it looks pretty cool & resembles Lagerfeld very well.


And as if this wouldn't have been enough, I tripped over another very stylish Coke campaign: It's Roberto Cavallo designing a new front look, which I quite like. Although I do not like Cola at all, I have to admit that with Cavallo's campaign I take a fancy for it. Price of the bottles: unheard-of.




At least Lagerfelds Coke is buyable from April 24, 2010 at Collettes in Paris. Lovely...

In his application form, Rahul Mahajan had mentioned that he got married at the Leela Palace hotel in Mumbai on March 6.

T20 World Cup 2010 - Fixtures and Schedules

The ICC World Twenty20 2010 is going be host by West Indies. The tournament to be played in 20-20 overs is schedule to begin from April 30 and it runs till May 16 for about 19 days. The T20 World Cup 2010 is the third edition of its kind. First it was hosted by South Africa in 2007 and then England on 2009. India and Pakistan were the champions in the respective years of 2007 and 2009.
Still two more teams are undecided for the tournament and this time Zimbabwe will also have their comeback since they were not playing in England on 2009.

Fixtures and Schedule:
The three countries in West Indies will be hosting the competition on 2010. Guyana, St. Lucia and Barbados will be hosting all the total of 27 matches. The series will be played in same format as in 2009 T20 World Cup. The finals on May 16 2010 will be hosted by Barbados. Here is the complete fixtures and schedule of T20 World Cup 2010:

KKR vs RCB - Highlights of IPL 2010 | Kolkata vs Bangalore

Kolkata Knight Riders won their second match of IPL too as they defeated Royal Challengers Bangalore by 7 wickets. It was again Matthews who played an important role in win but this time with the ball as he took 4 wickets giving just 19 runs in 4 overs. RCB were restricted to 135/7 in 20 overs after tight bowling from the Knight Riders'.

In reply, KKR got at superb start as both Manoj Tiwary and Brad Hodge got their fifites opening the innings. Tiwary was adjudged the man of the match for his 50 of 29 balls. With this win, KKR has made a solid foundation to IPL 2010 table.

Mumbai Indians vs Rajasthan Royals - Highlights of IPL 2010 | Video of RR Vs MI

Mumbai Indians have won the match by 4 runs.Mumbai Indians got to their highest total in IPL making 212/6 against Rajasthan Royals in 2nd match of IPL 2010. It was SS Tiwary and AT Rayadu who made fifties and took Mumbai to a huge score making a partnership of 110. Rajashtan bowlers suffered so heavily that the economy of 8.5 by Mascarenhas was the best of all. Its innings break and I must say Mumbai batsmen have done their best.

Rajasthan Royals: 208/7 in 20 overs


On reply, Rajasthan lot 4 wickets early but it was Yousuf Pathan who revived the inning with a superb century. Pathan got to 100 in just 37 balls but was unlucky to be run out on non-strikers end. Having to get 12 runs from last over, Malinga bowled superbly giving just 7 runs and match went to the Mumbai Indians.

Deccan Vs Kolkata - Highlights of IPL 2010 | DC Vs KKR in IPL 3

Kolkata Knight Riders defeated the defending champions Deccan Chargers by 11 runs in the 1st match of IPL 2010. Man of the match Angelo Mathews made 65 not out with one wicket. Mathews made 130 runs partnership with Owais Shah who made 58 not out. One stage KKR were struggling at 31-4 when this two guided team to 161-4 in 20 overs.

Kolkata Knight Riders - 161/4 in 20 overs
Deccan Chargers - 150/7 in 20 overs

On the other hand, Decccan started well with captain Gilchrist making 54 runs. DC had 61 runs partnership between Gilchrist and VVS Laxman for 1st wicket. Soon wicket were falling and only could manage to get 150 runs for 7 wickets in 20 overs. Deccan required 33 runs of 22 balls with only Indian domestic batsmen to come. Superb final bowling from Ishant, Shukla, Matthews and Langeveldt restricted them to 150.
