The movie has Namitha playing a sexy bar dancer who is constantly being wooed by lusty men. Kalabhavan Mani, who plays the eponymous hero, tries to woo her but only gets stabbed by her. The film’s other hero, Bala, plays a photographer who promises to help Namitha reform her life.

After Rahul Bhatt from Bigg Boss, now it is Rashmi Desai (Tapasya of TV serial Uttaran) who is the latest beneficiary of the actor's penchant for promoting young talent.

A few weeks ago, Salman was offered a new endorsement deal for a soap ad. The ad required a fresh female face and he decided to give Rashmi an opportunity.
He told the agency about her and they were more than willing. "She is very well-known on television and they too felt she would look good alongside Salman. When the actress first got the call, she thought someone was joking with her. But once the creative team came and met her to finalise the deal, she knew it was for real."
The shoot was eventually canned at ND Studios in Karjat. Rashmi says, "Working with Salman was a very good opportunity and like a dream come true for me. Ever since I was in school and college Salman has been my dream guy.
When we first shot for the ad, I was very nervous because he's such a big star but he made me very comfortable. I really appreciate it that he pushed me for his ad.
The day I was shooting I didn't know how he would be as there's a huge difference between TV and film stars but I found Salman to be very down to earth and sweet. He treated me like a princess and was very warm with my family.
I felt no difference with him as he made me feel comfortable in a few minutes. I respect him tremendously today. Now I understand why people are crazy for him. Thank you so much, God!"

After sharing a long term relationship with the world beauty Aishwarya Rai, Salman is now involved with the model turned actress Katrina Kaif.

Who would not want to try the stuff endorsed by the gorgeous big-eyed supermodel of Indian cinema, Katrina Kaif. This is the reason the Pantene company decided her to launch Katrina as Face of the Pantene. Katrina is little excited about her launching a shampoo though she has promoted several other products (soaps, hair removal cream etc.) before. This stunning Telugu and Hindi star landed into the world of acting with a bang in the movie Boom. Though the film did not focus much on her acting talent but on skin show, Katrina certainly acquired recognition. During the launch of the Pantene, the lady revealed that apart from acting and working out in gyms, she is a great fan of a sea-food.
Katrina Kaif says ‘Namaste London’
The well-known face in the world of modeling and Bollywood, Katrina Kaif will now be seen in a recent venture by Vipul Shah. Vipul’s upcoming movie Namaste London will feature Katina Kaif opposite to British actor Jason Connery. Jason is the second lead in the film. He will be playing the second romantic hero to Kaif in the film. The movie is inspired from the classic ‘Purab aur Paschim’. Namaste London is basically an Indo-British project with a contemporary subject of both Britons and Indian NRI’s living in London. The movie will involve a cost of around 25 crores and will be completely shot in London.
However Katrina might also be seen in the in Raj Kumar Santoshi’s new film London Dreams. Though the cast of the movie was decided as Ajay Devgan, Salman Khan and Priyanka Chopra, Salman is willing that Priyanka should be replaced by Katrina. Well, now it is upon Santoshi to decide whom to take and whom to leave. For now it can only be said that London is all set to be hit by Katrina.

Will Mallika and Emraan re-create the magic in ‘Murder 2′?
Mallika Sherawat swept Bollywood off its feet with her bold and bindaas entry with ‘Murder’ but she ended up upsetting her co-star and the makers by blabbering to the media that it was her appeal that led to the success of the film. However, the actress made up with the makers last year and post her return from Los Angeles, she has been in and out of Vishesh Films’ office quite often these days.
Bhatts plan to make a sequel to ‘Murder’ which will be directed by Mohit Suri and though Mallika and Emraan are being considered for the lead, nothing has been finalized yet. Mohit is busy with the last touches to the script and Emraan is in Pattaya at present.
Though Emraan is not very happy with Mallika as his co-star, he said, “I’m fine with whoever the producer and director signs. If the makers feel Mallika suits the role I am fine with it. I don’t impose my views on casting.”
Revealing more about the film and the cast, Mukesh says, “Mallika has been meeting us for the last few days. Discussions are on and she’s a strong contender. We are exploring various options. Mohit and Mahesh will make the final call. Murder 2 will be shot in exotic locations abroad.”
Whatever be the problems between Miss Sherawat and Emraan, the cinegoers would definitely want to see them re-create their sizzling chemistry on-screen.

Bipasha Basu not upset about her chopped role in ‘Aakrosh’
Bipasha Basu has been in this industry for long and has given ample evidence of her professional attitude in quite a few occasions but her cool and understanding attitude this time has really bowled us over. Apparently, her latest release ‘Aakrosh’ has her in a very understated role and her character is greatly overshadowed by Ajay Devgan’s in the film, but the actress very maturely explains the situation saying, “I knew from the start that my role was comparatively small. But I wanted to be part of this film because I believed in it. When I saw the complete film for the first time with my family and friends earlier this week I realized my role had been edited out even more. Now I’m hardly there. Important things that I had shot have been removed.”
In times when relations get sour in cases like this when an actor’s role get chopped off without information, Bips not only accepted the shock gracefully but also made her well-wishers understand when they seemed to be upset about this. The actress said, “I quickly took charge of the situation in the theatre and told them to watch Aakrosh as an Ajay Devgn film. I told my friends, ‘Hey guys. just enjoy the film for Ajay. We live in the cities and half the time we don’t even know what’s going on in the backward areas. We city folks live a blinkered life. As an actor I am ashamed to say I’m not aware of the world as much as I should be.”
