Zarine Khan’s double role – on the ramp!
Zarine, who was introduced by Salman Khan opposite him in “Veer”, was the showstopper for Divya K. Ahuja’s show Monday at the ongoing India International Jewellery Week (IIJW), and Tuesday too the actress walked the ramp for Dwarkadas Chandumal Jewellers.
“The piece I was wearing yesterday had its own uniqueness and this has its own. I like both the designers, so I walked for both,” Zarine told reports here.
Explaining the piece she was wearing for Tuesday’s show, the actress said: “I feel very beautiful wearing it because it’s such a grand and opulent piece. It’s worth around Rs.1.75 crore. It’s a beautiful piece especially with the sapphire and as it is, blue is my favourite colour, so I love it.”
The 23-year-old was dressed in an Archana Kochar outfit, which was a blue corset and a colourful lehenga with thread embroidery.
Zarine calls on her Veer!
New Delhi, Oct. 2 -- Guess who dropped in to meet Salman Khan at Mehboob Studio on Tuesday afternoon, wonders my birdy from Bandra. I've no time for guessing games, I tell her, and order her to come to the point, pronto.
So, she says that while the actor was giving interviews for his new television show, Zarine Khan sauntered in, clad in a sari. Seeing her, Sallu got up from his chair and she gave him a tight hug, before exchanging greetings.
Seems like she was shooting some sari-related show for a music channel and when she learnt that her Veer hero was around, she opted to pay him a visit him during her break. After some idhar-udhar ki baatein, Sallu showed her a photo of US President, Barack Obama in his Dabangg glares, on his mobile phone, which he has also put up on Twitter.
