Four Seasons George V Hotel in Paris. The presentation showcases Elie Saab’s latest Haute Couture designs, and opens today, Tuesday 24th September – running until Sunday 6th October 2013.
The exhibition has been curated by Jeff Leatheam, Creative Director of the hotel since 14 years. On display is a selection of eight Elie Saab silhouettes from the Autumn-Winter 2013/14 Haute Couture collection. Jeff Leatham is renowned internationally for having revolutionized floral artwork and for his spectacular flower arrangements.
In the hotel lobby, six ruby-red and silvery grey evening gowns have been put on show like precious royal jewels, presented on mirrored plexiglass podiums and encircled by 15,000 red Naomi roses. At the centre, beneath a Florentine crystal chandelier, stands a majestic gown made of silk tulle and lace with a cape embroidered with crystal, sequins and fine beads.
The regal wedding dress and its matching veil are exhibited at the entrance to the hallway. The tulle gown is entirely embroidered with semi-precious stones, beads and crystals and is surrounded by 9,000 Avalanche roses.

Louis Vuitton’s Monogram Empreinte is set to leave yet another sartorial ‘imprint’. The classic collection’s newest addition, the Keepall 45 Bandoulière is for keeps! Bestowed with a shoulder strap or bandoulière, the bag is a beacon of remarkable craftsmanship and exhibits a rare flair. If excess is unpalatable but luxury is indispensable, this bag strikes a balance with the embedded LV monogram masked in the plushness of its calf leather. Not to mention the design’s tasteful vehemence combined with the shape’s spacious countenance. The Keepall 45 is an apostle of unique usability and elegance.
The bag fashions a removable and adjustable leather strap that provides a patch for support and features a double zip closure with a golden brass padlock to keep the Keepall secure. On either interior side are flat pockets, while the exterior bears smooth leather trims with handle fastener, key holder and nametag, besides golden brass hardware. Available in Aube, Infini and Orient, the LV Monogram Empreinte Keepall 45 Bandoulière, priced at 2.400 Euro ($3,300) is the perfect travel accessory for the jet-setting and road-tripping woman alike. As for the luxury label’s male fan base, it still isn’t too late to snag one of its Spring Summer 2013 men’s bags.
