T20 World Cup 2010 - Fixtures and Schedules

The ICC World Twenty20 2010 is going be host by West Indies. The tournament to be played in 20-20 overs is schedule to begin from April 30 and it runs till May 16 for about 19 days. The T20 World Cup 2010 is the third edition of its kind. First it was hosted by South Africa in 2007 and then England on 2009. India and Pakistan were the champions in the respective years of 2007 and 2009.
Still two more teams are undecided for the tournament and this time Zimbabwe will also have their comeback since they were not playing in England on 2009.

Fixtures and Schedule:
The three countries in West Indies will be hosting the competition on 2010. Guyana, St. Lucia and Barbados will be hosting all the total of 27 matches. The series will be played in same format as in 2009 T20 World Cup. The finals on May 16 2010 will be hosted by Barbados. Here is the complete fixtures and schedule of T20 World Cup 2010:

KKR vs RCB - Highlights of IPL 2010 | Kolkata vs Bangalore

Kolkata Knight Riders won their second match of IPL too as they defeated Royal Challengers Bangalore by 7 wickets. It was again Matthews who played an important role in win but this time with the ball as he took 4 wickets giving just 19 runs in 4 overs. RCB were restricted to 135/7 in 20 overs after tight bowling from the Knight Riders'.

In reply, KKR got at superb start as both Manoj Tiwary and Brad Hodge got their fifites opening the innings. Tiwary was adjudged the man of the match for his 50 of 29 balls. With this win, KKR has made a solid foundation to IPL 2010 table.

Kings XI Punjab Vs Delhi Daredevils - Highlights of IPL 2010 | Video of KXIP Vs DD

Captain Gautam Gambhir played a captain's knock as Delhi Daredevils defeated the Punjab team by 5 wickets in the match played in Chandigarh. Chasing the target of 143 runs DD made 146-5 in 19.5 overs. Winning the toss, DD getting to bowl got early wickets. Ravi Bopara played a god knock of half-century. Nannes and Maharoof picked 2 wickets each. In reply, Gambhir scored 72 runs whereas Manthas get them to home with 30*.

Sri Lanka's Rupavahini corporation is a terrestrial television network that should most matches from world wide and will do same for World T20 tournament.

Mumbai Indians vs Rajasthan Royals - Highlights of IPL 2010 | Video of RR Vs MI

Mumbai Indians have won the match by 4 runs.Mumbai Indians got to their highest total in IPL making 212/6 against Rajasthan Royals in 2nd match of IPL 2010. It was SS Tiwary and AT Rayadu who made fifties and took Mumbai to a huge score making a partnership of 110. Rajashtan bowlers suffered so heavily that the economy of 8.5 by Mascarenhas was the best of all. Its innings break and I must say Mumbai batsmen have done their best.

On reply, Rajasthan lot 4 wickets early but it was Yousuf Pathan who revived the inning with a superb century. Pathan got to 100 in just 37 balls but was unlucky to be run out on non-strikers end. Having to get 12 runs from last over, Malinga bowled superbly giving just 7 runs and match went to the Mumbai Indians.

Deccan Vs Kolkata - Highlights of IPL 2010 | DC Vs KKR in IPL 3

Kolkata Knight Riders defeated the defending champions Deccan Chargers by 11 runs in the 1st match of IPL 2010. Man of the match Angelo Mathews made 65 not out with one wicket. Mathews made 130 runs partnership with Owais Shah who made 58 not out. One stage KKR were struggling at 31-4 when this two guided team to 161-4 in 20 overs.

Kolkata Knight Riders - 161/4 in 20 overs
Deccan Chargers - 150/7 in 20 overs

On the other hand, Decccan started well with captain Gilchrist making 54 runs. DC had 61 runs partnership between Gilchrist and VVS Laxman for 1st wicket. Soon wicket were falling and only could manage to get 150 runs for 7 wickets in 20 overs. Deccan required 33 runs of 22 balls with only Indian domestic batsmen to come. Superb final bowling from Ishant, Shukla, Matthews and Langeveldt restricted them to 150.
