Powerful Weineck Cobra 780 CUI Supercar

With a perfect blend of great looks and mind-boggling power, the Weineck Cobra is definitely one of the most impressive supercars in the world right now. With no less than 1100 horsepower under the hood, this classy-looking vehicle is limited to just 15 units worldwide, all of which have already found an owner.
The 780 cubic inch V8 that can be found under the hood was made by a company called Donovan Engineering, whose experts put it together using a series of Weineck Engineering parts, including the crankshafts, pistons, connecting rods and heads. Furthermore, the massive hood scope you can see in the pictures is not there purely for aesthetic purposes, but it ensures much needed airflow and cooling for the massive engine. As far as performance is concerned, this beastly-looking machine is capable of doing a 100kmh (0-62 mph) sprint in just 2.3 seconds, as well as a 300 kmh (0-186 mph) sprint in just 10 seconds.
Each and every one of these stunning cars were made in Germany, and they retailed for 548.300 Euro ($746,000). However, one model will be available for purchase during the Paris Auction held by RM Auctions in February. Will you be the one to take it home?

Mercedes-Benz to Create a Zero-Emission S-Class

The increasing European and U.S. regulatory pressures have determined Mercedes-Benz to imagine an emissions-free future.

The increasing European and U.S. regulatory pressures have determined Mercedes-Benz to imagine an emissions-free future. “If zero emission mobility will be necessary, and that’s what we believe, it’s clear we have to change to electric mobility”, said Thomas Weber, R&D chief for Daimler AG.

The automaker intends to turn the luxury S-Class into a high-end electric class inspired by the F-125! concept that we saw this year at Frankfurt. Don’t expect to see the eco-friendly luxury car anytime soon. Mercedes estimates its appearance between 2020 and 2025.

Its launch however is bound to thrill car lovers: the car will provide uncompromised comfort and driving pleasure, while keeping the environment free of CO2 emissions. And in addition to all that, the range of the nature-friendly car is an astonishing 621 miles (1,000 kilometers)!

The New 2014 Audi R8 V10 Plus

After a few tweaks for the 2014 model year, the beloved Audi R8 is even more alluring than before.

After a few tweaks for the 2014 model year, the beloved Audi R8 is even more alluring than before. Take a look at this beautiful 2014 V10 Plus model for example. More than 60 kg (130 pounds) lighter than the standard V10 and with better output, the car is a winner and deserves a place on your list of favorite new rides.

All new R8 models share a series of cool features, such as larger shift paddles on the steering wheel, fresh alloy wheel designs, LED headlights and tail lamps, and new exterior colors. The best newcomer of all, however, is the seven-speed S-Tronic dual-clutch automatic transmission that improves fuel efficiency and contributes to better 0-100km/h (0-60 mph) times. For those who enjoy driving a stick Audi also offers the possibility to choose a traditional 6-speed manual box.

What makes the new V10 Plus lighter is a combination of changes that we definitely like: carbon fiber rear diffuser, rear spoiler, front splitter and side blades, carbon-ceramic brakes, reduced sound bay insulation, lightweight manual seats, and even a smaller fuel tank. With 550 hp and 398 lb-ft of torque coming from the naturally-aspirated 5.2-liter V10 engine, the car can reach 100km/h (60 mph) in 3.3 seconds and has a top speed of 320km/h (197 mph).
