Mercedes-Benz Aria Concept by Slavche Tanevski

This superb Mercedes-Benz concept was made by Slavche Tanevski , a Macedonian design student at the University of Applied Sciences in Munich, Germany. It was actually made for his Bachelor Thesis and his intention was to make a car with a timeless design. For this he found inspiration in things that are always beautiful, like musical instruments, hair flying in the wind, the female body and even the Coke bottle.

The Aria Concept was born at the Mercedes-Benz Design Studio as an electric vehicle for 2030. Here the automaker’s designers and design chiefs made sure that every detail was meticulously respected. The spacious interior of the car is defined by modularity, as it is not welded to the exterior, but inserted into the car separately. We would really love to see a beauty like this roaming the streets of our 2030 world.

Mercedes-Benz S-Class Coupe

Every bit of regret that you may have over Mercedes-Benz’s CL-Class being replaced with a new model should instantly vanish at the sight of the new S-Class Coupe. This is a successor that’s fully worthy of its position, exuding elegance and style from its every pore.
Its intimidating front fascia boasts elongated headlights, a prominent grille, and large air intakes. Covering the 21-ich wheels are beautifully accentuated arches that complement the car’s overall proportions. You can’t help but admire its sleek design and clean lines and all those beautiful details, like the pillarless side windows and the elongated roofline.
For the interior, the German automaker kept the same elegant design language, using calfskin for the instrument panel and the seats, and adding a few aluminum touches at the end. Technology-wise, the new S-Class Coupe does not disappoint. Among its many excellent features there is the Intelligent Drive system which makes use of forward-oriented cameras that send commands to the Magic Body Control suspension after scanning surface driving conditions.

2013 Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG GT Roadster

It’s true that you will have to give up the roof-hinged doors if you choose the drop-top version of the car, but those hot Californian days make the compromise fully worth it. The 2013 Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG GT Roadster (not exactly the shortest name possible), is truly impressive, with excellent looks, more power, and a super techy (never tacky!) interior.

The car gets its juice from a 6.3-liter V8 capable of 583 hp. The power unit is connected to a 7-speed DCT, which is a match made in heaven, as the performance figures successfully prove: a 0-60 time of just 3.6 seconds and a top speed of 197 mph. Of course, responsible for that is also the supercar’s curb weight, which is 3,661 lbs.

Those who have driven the beautiful two-seater have described the experience as thrilling and incredibly satisfying. Even though the long nose of the car and its low stance can make it a bit tricky to estimate how close you are to objects in front of you, it doesn’t take very long to get the hang of it. Going over bumps doesn’t result in the car scratching its chin over the pavement, and it doesn’t affect your comfort even after long drives – that’s how good the suspensions are.

Speaking about long drives, the new SLS AMG GT Roadster boasts a really impressive range. Its fuel tank is comparable to that of a SUV, being capable of holding as many as 26.2 gallons of fuel! Fitting such a large tank into such a petite vehicle looks very much like magic to us.

On the inside, things get even more enchanting, as the luxury automaker has spared no efforts and expenses to create something truly spectacular. Leather and carbon fiber dominate the picture, but all that obviously comes with a price. The standard version is pretty cool, however if you’ve got a little extra cash, splurging on a sophisticated two-tone leather upholstery with quilted stitch pattern trims is what we would call a very good idea.

Mercedes-Benz to Create a Zero-Emission S-Class

The increasing European and U.S. regulatory pressures have determined Mercedes-Benz to imagine an emissions-free future.

The increasing European and U.S. regulatory pressures have determined Mercedes-Benz to imagine an emissions-free future. “If zero emission mobility will be necessary, and that’s what we believe, it’s clear we have to change to electric mobility”, said Thomas Weber, R&D chief for Daimler AG.

The automaker intends to turn the luxury S-Class into a high-end electric class inspired by the F-125! concept that we saw this year at Frankfurt. Don’t expect to see the eco-friendly luxury car anytime soon. Mercedes estimates its appearance between 2020 and 2025.

Its launch however is bound to thrill car lovers: the car will provide uncompromised comfort and driving pleasure, while keeping the environment free of CO2 emissions. And in addition to all that, the range of the nature-friendly car is an astonishing 621 miles (1,000 kilometers)!

New 2014 Mercedes SLS AMG Black Series

The luring Mercedes SLS lineup is pretty generous, giving you the possibility to choose between Roadster, Coupe, GT3 and (in the near future) E-Cell versions. If, however, none of those variants are good enough for you, then you will be happy to learn that the AMG Black Series model has been added to the list.

The 2014 AMG Black Series brings forth some design elements from the GT3 version, to which it adds some of the classic Black Series cues that you already love so much. It all starts with a significant weight reduction (154 lbs) obtained by swapping the original exhaust system with a titanium one and adding a number of carbon fiber parts, lightweight sport seats and new wheels.

This change goes excellently well with the upgraded engine under the hood: the V8 unit puts out 622 hp and can push the vehicle to a new top speed of 195 mph. The 0-60 mph time has also been improved by 0.2 seconds. Check out the new goodie in the gallery below.

Breath taking 2014 Mercedes-Benz S-Class Interior

It is time for an “Oh my God” moment. The photos below show the new and absolutely stunning interior of the much anticipated 2014 Mercedes-Benz S-Class. Boasting pioneering technology advancements, exquisite craftsmanship, and an irresistible design, this is how the world’s new best automobile looks like on the inside.

It’s not us who decided that this was the best car in the world, but Mercedes did when it announced the all-new luxury sedan. The traditional instrument cluster was swapped with two high-rez color displays: one on the left for digital analog gauges, and one of the right for comfort settings and infotainment. Also unveiled this year is the new mBrace2 cloud-based information delivery and entertainment system that the German automaker has introduced into the new S-Class.

Things are absolutely wonderful for all passengers, as they enjoy plenty of foot room and totally comfortable chairs with six different massage programs. Entirely autonomous climate adjustments ensure optimal comfort for the driver and passenger thanks to the new thermotronic climate control. Air filtering is also improved, being based on ionization technology.

And as a final touch of luxury, the active perfuming system allows the user to customize the smell of the interior in a simple end effective way, without using old fashioned car fresheners. Sounds nice? Browse through the photo gallery below and see how nice it looks!
